Which is your favorite composition and why? How did you decide it was 'finished'?My personal favorite was the letter E. I felt like even though it was simple, I felt its completion entirely after seeing how simple it was.
Did you choose the 5 letters at random or do you have a personal connection to any or all?
I had a connection to a few of the letters, but others were just random such has the p, and i. Others have connection to my name, or other aspects in my life. Their designs have some relation to their letter and meaning of that letter.
Did you start with one typeface or experiment with several different typefaces? What were the advantages and challenges of your approach?
I started with one typeface and then experimented from there, and developed my ideas or design from there. The advantage is being able to develop a design around that typeface. The disadvantage was that instead of having a design in mind, I worked around the font. If I had experimented with other fonts with a design in mind.
