DMF 201: Project 2: Collage

What was your process like working on the collage? Did you have a clear plan in mind and proceed smoothly to an end result? Or did you discover unexpected things as you played with the design?

Were they stages where the collage was unsettling? Did you keep it that way? Why or why not?

As I started the project, I "thought" I had an idea of where I wanted the college to go, but as I began to experiment with different tools and such my ideas and plans morphed. I used the basic tools to do simple tasks, but that lead me to wanting to take my project to the next level. There are so many things, so my approaches you can take with this project. It was almost overwhelming trying to decide which route to take, There were different parts of the collage that I was unsure about, as well as trying not to settle for a typical collage design. When I stumbled upon something unsettling, I kept it. I liked the originality it presented, and the opportunity to expand. I found that making collages really opened up a different artistic view in myself, which was something new for me.
